How to take a sabbatical from your business

Ever want to get away?

Get some space and clarity?

I see it with my clients all the time. They fight and struggle against some problem.

It consumes them.

After a while, they can’t see clearly.

Heck, they can’t even think…

Here’s my prescription for them…and for you…

Take a sabbatical.

“Oh, but I can’t…there’s too much to do”, you say.

I doubt it.

Once a quarter go away for two days.

Not for a vacation.

For a think-tank with yourself.

Two days is enough.

You don’t need much, just a blank notebook, a pen and some quiet. (A good book doesn’t hurt either…a recommendation in a moment.)

I’ve done this 3-4 times a year for as long as I can remember. It’s one of the keys to consistent growth.

I’m starting my quarterly sabbatical today.

When will you start yours?

P.S. Great book, you should read it. Recommended by my friend Jason Leister: Time Warrior, by Steve Chandler. I’d move it to the top of your reading list!
