The only real solution for business growth

  This could have been titled…

“How to win, even if your offer is only average”, or…

“The simple secret Starbucks uses to sell mediocre coffee, that you can legally “steal”, or…

“How McDonalds became the world’s largest small business with a bad product.”

I could go on…

But I like the first title…because this is the only real solution for business growth…

A system.

A system for selling.

A system for delivering.

At the end of the day, that’s all you need. And neither need to be world-beating, but they do need to exist.

The reason businesses, especially service businesses, get started, grow to create a decent job for the owner and then get stuck in the mud, never growing much more…

No systems for selling or delivering.

The business owner thinks “this can’t be systematized”, “everything I do is custom”, “I know how to do this, why do I need a system.”

Too bad, ‘cause until you’ve got a system for selling and a system for delivering, you just can’t grow far or fast. (And possibly worse…you don’t get any days off!)
