The Unstoppable CEO™ and
The Unstoppable Agency

In 1999, at the age of 28, I became the CEO of my first business. It was baptism by fire…

I knew nothing about marketing or selling services. We got all of our business by word of mouth, and we had a healthy, growing business.

But we never knew where the next client was coming from, or when he (or she) would arrive.

I spent way too many nights, staring at the ceiling at 2:00 am, worried that the next client might not come when we needed it. So, I started studying sales and marketing.

And we grew that firm into a multi-7-figure professional practice.

I’ve invested nearly two decades, studying, implementing, testing, and proving the strategies that work to sell professional services.

Since 2010, I’ve been sharing what we’ve learned with growth-minded professionals who are tired of trying this and trying that, and finally, want some clarity…

Who just want to have a clear plan of action to get clients, that works.

Why The Unstoppable CEO™

I was having a conversation with a friend and he asked, “What’s unique about the people you work with?”

I said, “They’re real business owners, CEOs. They’ve been successful for five, or ten, or in some cases twenty years. They’ve got the scars to prove it, too… Anyone who builds a business has to persist through difficulty, and just keep going.”

My friend paused, and said, “So they’re unstoppable.” Yes, they…you are unstoppable.

The Unstoppable CEO describes our clients.

Business builders, who are creating a better life and a bigger future for themselves and their families.

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”

Calvin Coolidge, 30th President of the United States

A Source of Clarity

Attracting clients is more complex and confusing today, than it’s ever been. You have thousands of methods available to you to market your firm and attract clients. Yet, all of that choice creates a serious problem.

Most don’t know which methods to use, or where to start. After all, you’re not a professional marketer (nor should you be), you have a business to run.

So many of the businesses that come to us for help have been “dabblers.” They dabble in a little networking, and a little social media, and a little advertising, and a little of this or that or the other thing.

Yet, they never make any real, measurable progress.

For the clients we serve, we end the dabbling. We bring focus, clarity, and results.

Selling Professional Services is Different

Ever read a sales or marketing book, or go to a seminar and walk away thinking, “This might work great for another business, but not for mine?”

There’s a reason…when you’re selling your expertise as a service, sales “tactics” work against you. It’s almost impossible to “sell” a prospect, then turn around and be their “trusted advisor and counselor.”

You need a way to market and sell–to create demand–that doesn’t require “selling” the way it’s taught in seminars.

“The aim of marketing is to make selling superfluous. The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product or service fits him and sells itself. Ideally, marketing should result in a customer who is ready to buy. All that should be needed then is to make the product or service available.”

Peter F. Drucker

Escaping Commoditization and Price Competition

Increasingly, service businesses are being squeezed by competition and commoditization. The result…it’s harder than ever to build wealth through your practice.

And, there’s only one way out…

You must create the belief in your future client, that you are the preeminent authority, and that you, and only you, are the one to transform their problem, into a bigger, better future.

The only way to create that belief is to communicate it to your prospects and clients…through marketing.

From DIY to Done-for-You

A few years ago it became clear that while we were giving our clients great strategies and they loved them, they also lacked the time, skills, team, and systems to implement the marketing we recommended. So we started doing it for them.

Now, through the Unstoppable.Agency, we bring all the strategy, people, and systems to you, so you can focus on growing your business, while we take care of the marketing for you. That means…

  • There’s no marketing technology to buy and maintain.
  • You don’t need to train or hire a team of 3-5 who has all of the varied skills to do the job.
  • You don’t need to invent the systems to keep your marketing machine running.

We do it for you. If you’re the kind of person we work with, you’ll like that.

Where to Begin

Option 1: If you’re finally ready to cut through the clutter and confusion, build your authority, escape commoditization, and begin attracting clients predictably, here’s what I recommend:

Start with our free and comprehensive guide to “escaping obscurity” (a/k/a getting known to the people who matter to you). By the end, you’ll have a very clear picture of what’s required to pre-sell potential clients, so that when they are in front of you they’ve already decided…you’re the one for them.

Option 2: If you’re ready to have someone take marketing off your plate, and get it done for you, we might be a fit. The easiest way to find out is to schedule a Growth Opportunity Analysis call. We’ll talk through your goals, and help you get clarity on what it will take to reach them. At the end of the call, if we agree we’re a fit, we’ll discuss possible next steps.

Stay unstoppable!
